This debut CD touches on Bluegrass, Americana, Swing and Rock all with bluegrass instrumentation. Creative song writing keeps the listener guessing on what could be coming next. Everyone in the band is writing music and we all come from different genres, which made for a pretty diverse CD. The majority of the fourteen original songs are upbeat and deal with typical bluegrass topics such as love, death, and life but with a twist. This band definitely has a sense of humor as shown in tunes like “Ain’t Never Gonna Be Your Beau”, “Holy Murder”, “Liquored Up” and “I Came Here to Fish” and can show sensitivity and emotion in tunes like “Westmoreland County”, “Tears and Memories” and “Sweet Virginia”.
