Frecon Farms Celebrates Fall with Harvest Bluegrass Festival

Boyertown, PA (September 22, 2008)-Paradise Ranch In prime harvest fashion, Frecon Farms will celebrate the fall season with their 2nd Annual Harvest Bluegrass Festival October 4, featuring 3 of the regions hottest bluegrass bands, Pick Your Own fruit, apple recipe contest, bluegrass open mic and more! The fall festival will be the perfect way to get outside to enjoy the fall weather, foliage and harvest with family and friends.

Regional powerhouse The Manatawny Creek Ramblers, Scranton pickin’ sensation Wissahicken Chicken Shack, and Philadelphia favorite the Estelles- an all-girl folk, bluegrass band- will all play in Frecon’s orchard to celebrate the weekend for pickin’. A bluegrass open mic will begin at 10:30 (sign ups starting at 10 a.m.) and continue through 12 p.m.

Pick Your Own apples, raspberries and pumpkins will be in full swing and the renown Frecon’s Recipe Contest will resume featuring apples as the star ingredient. Kid’s activities, food tasting and plenty of outdoor fun will also be available as the Frecon’s celebrate the most bountiful time of year!

Tickets are just $3 in advance and $5 day of the event, available at Frecon Farms- 501 South Reading Ave. in Boyertown. Children under 5 get in free!
