NEPA Bluegrass Festival

There’s no better bluegrass event in Northeast than the NEPA Bluegrass Festival that takes place June 3,4,5,6, 2010 at Lazy Brook Park in Tunkhannock. The four-day event features two stages – one tradition and one progressive – with acts including Frank Wakefield, Danny Paisley and the Southern Grass, Wissahickon Chicken Shack, Mason Porter, the Katie Bug Band and many more. The festival will also feature vendors, children’s workshops and an open jam. Camping is available for those interested in staying at the park. The festival begins Thursday and runs through Sunday. Tickets are $15-20 per day or $50 for a weekend pass. For more information and a schedule of acts, visit their website
