An open letter from pabluegrass.com administration

This month I want to explain a little about what has been going on the last few months. Many of you have been wondering where the updates have been.

My wife passed away suddenly in September and I spent the last few months dealing with that. In addition to the obvious emotional issues there were numerous legal issues to deal with. I was not sure that I wanted to continue and I am still not sure if I want to continue. I will, however, update the news as I get it. I am now a single parent to three boys. One of which has Autism. This keeps me very busy.

There were only a few bands that would keep me updated as to what they were doing. Pennsylvania Bluegrass is a one man operation. It was always intended to be a community where fans, bands and festivals could all get together and share information. Without the support of bands festivals and even fans sending news and performance schedules the site is less than it could be. I ask for your support to make Pabluegrass.com the best it can be. I thank everyone who has supported me in the past.

Clarion County's Bluegrass Festival will take place March 18, 19 and 20

The United Way of Clarion County has been able to add Clarion to the winter's circuit of Bluegrass Festivals. Clarion County's Bluegrass Festival will take place at the Holiday Inn hotel (off I-80 - Exit 62) and will be on Friday March 18, beginning at 7:00 PM; Saturday, March 19, from noon to 11:00 PM; and Sunday will have gospel music from 9:30 AM to noon.
Performances will take place in the Holiday Inn Magic Forest Ballroom. Although this room is not as large as the Butler's Days Inn performance hall, the hotel itself will provide ample space for pick up band performances. There is a spacious lounge, courtyard, conferenc e rooms and a large bar/restaurant area.
